platys NOT breeding?!

My smaller male died a few days ago, I'm not quite sure why. He was acting kind of lethargic, he was just hang out in the top back right corner
But there is some good news! My female mickeymouse platy is pregnant! She's getting a gravid spot, and her stomach is visibly getting larger

I found 2 babies in my 10 gallon tank today!! One is a lot bigger then the other tho good luck !
