Hi i have posted this question already, but i really need some answers so heres my question. I am trying to decide how to stock my fish tank and i have come up with 2 stocking ideas using aqadvisor.com. The tank is a 20 gallon long tank with a cascade 600. anyway tell me which you like better:

1: 5 Serpae Tetras,
5 Neon Tetras,
4 Bronze Cories,
2 Dwarf Platys,
1 Bristlenose Pleco,
1 Kribensis.

2: 5 Serpea Tetras,
4 Tiger Barbs,
4 Bronze Cories,
2 Platys,
1 Bristlenose Pleco,
1 Kribensis.

The only difference beteen option to is that its tiger barbs instead of the neons. Please answer if you can!! All other suggestions are apreciated. Thanks!
:thanks:

I'll tell you what I was told: the tiger barbs won't work in a 20, even a 20 long. I think they need more than four in a school and that many won't work in a 20. I had three in my 20 and was given this advice so I sadly rehomed them. What about a dwarf gourami? Don't know much about kribs and gouramis together though.

IMO you'd be better off increasing the numbers in your schooling fish, and probably not try to have too many species in your 20g tank.

For example, my 20g has:

10 black neon tetras
6 five banded barbs
3 ottocinclus
1 male betta
