please help identify these fish.

we went to the lfs and wanted to buy a female blue ahli. this is the fish that was sold to us. it didnt look like the pictures that im seeing online. so we went to another store and bought a younger female where the guy said he was almost 100% sure it was a female ahli. just asking for some clarification if you guys can help.

I think there just to young to tell, almost all cichlids look alike wen there juviniles good luck

I'm not sure what pic you are referencing...

I could be completely wrong (are you asking about the first picture???).... is it a Female Silver Molly?? Look up pics of one on the Internet....

I'm referencing the silver fish in the first photo... I know what a Molly looks like - I have one... So lets not get snippy here please... It is hard to know what fish is being referenced and that first silver fish looks like a blurry silver molly to me. Like I said, I could be wrong.

I've not been on this site long, but I have been using cichlids.com A LOT, and they are marvelous about identifying fish. (not saying you guys here aren't) I just saw you haven't gotten a lot of help yet, for whatever reason, so maybe go there and post them...ya might get an answer. Good luck!

just for kicks here are a couple better pics of the younger of the two. she is about 3 inches long. maybe 2.5

every once in a while i can see flakes of blue in her face with just the palest of hue to her body. but thats got to be under the right light and angel.
