Hey guys!

Ok, so in the last few weeks, my angelfish has been acting kinda sick. I noticed the majority of the symptoms about 1 week after adding new fish. That's why I think it is an INTERNAL parasite. Symptoms are as follows:
  • Slime coat has doubled, and is very visible
  • Fin tips are missing
  • Favors hiding in a corner of the tank, behind a rock
  • Lost red color in eyes
  • Clamped back fin

Gills are not inflamed, and breathing is normal.

But the strange things that baffle me is that there is no change in appetite, and none of the other fish have symptoms! Not even the newly introduced fish! No visible external parasites, I made sure that nothing was on him/her.

No measurable ammonia or nitrItes, nitrAtes are high, planning on doing some extra water changes over Christmas break. I test using a less-than-a-year-old API Freshwater Mast Test Kit. Water change schedule has been erratic lately, but I usually do 50% weekly.

Filter is a Marineland Penguin 350, heater is an old heater off Craigslist.

Livestock:

2 Bronze cories
2 Peppered cories
