One of my guppies died with dropsy last night, cause undetermined. Two other male guppies are losing coloration along belly and need to be treated. I'll be using Seachem Polyguard. They live in a 36g community tank with 4 cories, 2 honey gourami, and 1 assassin snail, so I can't treat them in their current housing. I can either buy a new tank and treat them there or add them to my 10g quarantine tank, where there's space and I'm currently using Polyguard to treat some new female guppies.

Which is the best option? Do I risk my guppies picking up something from the new additions in the qt, or do I risk stressing them out in a new, uncycled tank during treatment? There's also the problem of needing to time water changes to doses of Polyguard every 72 hrs, so I worry about not being able to treat them properly if I need to do frequent water changes in an uncycled tank.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
