I just bought cardinal tetras and 1 German Blue Ram. I let them acclimate to the water before putting them in the tank, however, all of the fish are now floating around barely concious with occasional swims. Im worried! Any help is grateful!

Hello! I'm sorry to hear your having trouble :-(

How did you acclimate them to the water?
How big is your tank?
Was it cycled?

I put the bag unopened in the tank to let the fish become accustomed to the temp difference and after about 45 mins I gradually let small amounts of water into the bag. I then released them into the tank. Yes my tank is fully cycled with perfect water quality.

I think I figured out what happened. I had a small power head running in the tank. I believe it knocked them around too much. However, one of my cardinal tetras did die but, the other two and my female German Blue ram are doing fine now.
