I have a small tank with two tetras, 5 tadpoles and a pictus cat. the cat was recovering from ich so he wasnt in the best shape. When I woke up this morning my cat was no where to be found :( Is it possible for the tadpoles to have eaten him?

more like the tetras? but only 1 night and it disappeared..maybe both of your tetras and tadpoles have eaten the cat.
I would guess your cat was dead when they eat it.

OoO it happened to me all the time, but my experience is way crazier...my cat fish disappeared....the only fish in my tank at that time....even I clean up the whole tank, I couldn't find its body...LOL
and I don't have a cat, so I m still wondering what happened to it....

Welcome to AA! :)

Check around and behind the tank. It's doubtful that the tetra and tadpoles could have completely consumed it even if it was dead first.

i agree with HN look around. fish can jump or find the smallest places to hide.

when my fish died and the corps were eaten, whatever leftover were stuck to the filter floss...if you really want to find the remaining of the fish
