definately a staple of 90% of Pleco's diets.. They love chomping on wood!

welp, I always get what they have at my Lfs, preferably what I can grab outbid their tank, boil..... Than throw in mine. But if that's not an option.. eBay or manzanita for cool fancy branches!

Yes, plecos will chomp on wood non stop, almost like a eating pooping machine. I guess for them something softer like bog wood works.
