pleco male or female

ive thought this plec of mine was a male but with the lack of many bristles im thinking he might be a she what do you think?

Must confess looks more like a female to me, especially if seems a small size but see what others think.

its still only very small about 2 inch maybe so suppose just got to wait and see if it develops more on its head ...as atm they just around mouth which is why i think female too dont matter if it is female as that would then mean we got 1 male to 2 females but if it male then 2 males to 1 female
