Pleco problem - missing in a 2.5g

Because a guppy should have a bigger tank and a pleco should have a tank way bigger- ie 30 gallons minimum for a bristlenose
 
Does it have a top? Could it have jumped out? I agree, that tank is too small. Even plecos that don't grow to be huge, like bn's, need at least 20 or 30 gallons I believe...


i have a clown pleco in an 18g, and before that it was a sailfin (outgrew, ofcourse lol) i think 20g per pleco is a bit exadurated, but im fairly new so just what ive been told
