Pleco turning white

Please help... my bristle nosed pleco is turning white, anyone know why this might be? He's my main man so hoping it's nothing serious [emoji225]

Do you have any pictures? That would help out a lot! White film, patches, and growths usually are indicative of fungal infections. Hope he feels better soon!

Sooner might be better if possible, some of the things that can turn a fish white can kill/spread fast.
