I have 18 platy fry.

7 fry (born 8/16) from a yellow neon tuxedo female and unknown male (purchased her pregnant).
11 fry (born 8/20) from a Mickey Mouse female and unknown male (purchased her pregnant).

The neon tuxedo fry already have spots on them, and it's adorable!! No color definition on the MM fry yet.ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1409158279.467697.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1409158288.500891.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1409158489.678049.jpg

I also have 4 Molly fry that are about 3 months old now. They were a surprise, so out of 10, only 4 survived. They are in the community tank and thriving.

How can you tell they are pregnant when they are always fat like a balloon?

My dad now has two batches of fry in his tank one are less than a day old and the other are about two weeks old. I see one of the newborns hiding in the java moss grabbing the first bites when it floats down but the older ones are eating at the top it's amazing how they double in size in just a few weeks!!

The baby brine shrimp coaxed them out, I got a really zoomed in picture of three of them. They are doing a really good job of hiding in the java moss!
