Funny, I was thinking of naming my new betta Ziggy Stardust...

This red guy is my old male betta Mojo. And the blue one is my Voodoo. They both passed away last year.
But this crowntail girl is the new betta I just bought today. Her personality made me fall in love with her right away.

Here is our family betta named Sandy (AKA Sandy Clause) not sure on type or sex so help us appreciated in that regard. Sandy is very gentle. Flares at nothing. I'm going up get a couple of small tank mates for it soon.

That's definitely a male veiltail. Looks like he has some fin rot, though.

What can I do for that

Keep his water extra clean and if that doesn't work after a week or two treat with an antibiotic. Clean water with very low nitrates should be enough to get them to start growing back in most cases.

Should I add a small amount of aquarium salt as well or just really keep it sparkling clean??

I would just keep it clean. The only thing I use aquarium salt for is ich.

Yeah that's awesome! David Bowie is where I got the name for him. There both real colorful so I thought it was perfect.

The blue HMPK looking guy is actually a wild Guitar Smaragdina. He's my favorite!
The DTPKEE is "Mo" for Mohawk
The yellow koi HMPK is "popcorn"
Blue/yellow/white HM is "captain Jack" because he's blind in one eye because of the dragon scaling defect that sometimes causes the scales to grow over eyes
The CTPK is called "Zorro" because he's masked lol
The copper marble is "Ferdinand" for Ferdinand the cow
And the rest don't have names.
All are imports

I also have atleast 8-10 females and 3 fry that I bred myself. I don't have pictures of them, but will post later

Anyone here breed bettas and willing to ship to Canada? I'm looking for some females, preferably HM but I'll buy just about any other than PK or VT. I might even consider PK... depends please pm me if you do!!
