Here's my newest 90g tank been up about a week
the build /transformation link is below in my signature if you want to see more
I tried my best to keep the lay out as close as my 40 was .
since that was my favorite and it wasn't a easy thing to recreate just needs some macro's now

Seaweed could you make an album on your 90? I cant see any of your pics on this thread and on your build thread

that's why I got the 90 to help cut back on tanks
at 1 point I had well over 15 tanks ranging from 5g to 45g
since than I down sized big time but I decided to down size again this time all my saltwater is in 1 90 , I turned the reins for the fresh water tanks over to my daughter,

They are resting places, so the fish can rest closer to the surface. Pretty sure, but not 100%

I was thinking the same thing and the mesh would offer a sense of security/cover. Idk.

This is my tank , after doing some research I'm planning on changing to a dirt substrate in the near future. Still undecided on gravel or sand above the dirt layer.

In a dirted tank sand may be the better option. If you use gravel use a fine grade. Otherwise you may get a lot of dirt in your water column and start an algae bloom. AFAIK.
