I have a 75 gallon tank and put two Phoenix 2, 1280gph powerheads...is that too much circulation????:confused::confused:

I have 2 K4's in my 72G bowfront and it was too much for my FOWLER, I dropped down to 2 K3's. It depends on what you have though, may not be too much for a reef tank.

I've added some pics to the profile. I'm not looking to get into corals...yet anyway. For now I'm wanting to stay with fish and hardy inverts.

Welcome to the site! I don't really consider it to be too much flow unless it pins the fish up against the side of the tank or blows sand all over the place.

Thanks for the welcome. I have 4 blue-green chromis in there now. I seemed like a little too much for them at the beginning, but I moved the powerhead to the middle portion of the back wall and pointed them toward the front and center of the tank. They seem like that was much better!!!:D
