Powerhead question

My biocube has a Powerhead sort of thing that releases water back into the aquarium after it has been filtrated. Where do you think I should point it at? Right now it's pointing towards the middle of the tank.

I have mine pointed towards the glass and kinda down skimming my rocks.

Does it hit the sand? Because I read that you should have the current near the bottom so that no food can stay in the bottom.

Not directly towards the bottom, you'll kick up sand like that. Try to bounce it off the front glass or some rockwork. You want a haphazard water flow so that it circulates through out the tank making sure therea re no "dead" spots.
