hi again
i need to know whats going on. and is my calculation right

if i have 33 gallon aquarium,
and also a 800 ml mix bottle fert
i will dose 3 ml off the bottle

i need to achieve 10 ppm in my aquarium
What should be the nitrate level if i start at 0 after adding the 3 ml?
same for p04 and potassium?

thank you

I personally aim for 10ppm of nitrates, but 10-20ppm nitrates is good. I like 3-5ppm of phosphates but 1-3ppm is okay. I don't measure potassium at all.

You mix it per the instructions and just dose 1ml of nitrates to every 10g and let the nitrates raise slowly through the week. You don't have to "dose" right up to the 10ppm mark. You may want to look into dosing EI since they dose higher and on a different schedule. Your making this way more difficult than it is. At the end of each week I do a nitrate and phosphate test to see where levels are before my water change. Then I either keep daily dosing the same or adjust it up or down as needed. In almost all my tanks I don't even have to dose nitrates as my tanks run at about 10ppm naturally.
