protein skimmer question

Now that i got my lr in my 75 gallon the protein skimmer is starting to give me some production (seaclone 150) however im not sure if it is the type of production i should be geting. Should it be liquidy? There is not a bunch of foam in the colleciton cup, the foam reaches the top of the inner tube and then kinda drips out a bit and i am slowly geting some nasty looking liquid.
is this correct? or does my skimmer need some tweaking?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Nasty looking liquid is what you want, it shows it is working properly.

It will be liquidy, yes. You should see some foam rising through the uptake and then liquid in the collection cup.
