quarantine tank

Last week I lost 3 fish: a Copperband, a Clarkii clown and a Scopa Tang probably due to Ich .... I could not use copper in the main since I have 2 anemones and soft corals that are doing great !
Today I purchased a 10G to use as quarantine.
I live in a condo and do not have the space to have the Qt running all the time!
Can someone give me advice on how to set it up when I need it and then put it away when it has served it's purpose ?
The main is running empty now and will for 4-5 weeks

Thats fine because qt tanks should not be up all the time.
