Question about 40 Gallon Breeder Tanks

Can anybody explain to me why the 40 gallon breeder tanks are so popular? It seems like you hear about them over and over again for some reason?

I have seen some really nice setups, but it just seems like they are the favorite choice.

They have a very good footprint (36 x 18). Much better than a 55 gallon, which is a nightmare to aquascape, at only 12" front to back.

Ok, that makes sense! I am waiting for the $1 gallon Petco sale to get one.

Me too!! I just missed it here!! Should of been looking 4 days prior and would of had one!!

Haha. I realized I wanted one at 8PM last Saturday. If I would have left right at that moment I probably would have made it in time to get one. Oh well, now I have to wait.
