Question for a friend...

A friend of mine has some mixed African Cichlids (not sure of tank size), but from what she told me she's fighting a case of brown algae. She asked me to post a question for her to find out if there are any kinds of algae eaters she'd be able to keep with her Cichlids. Any ideas?

im not an expert but i would cure the algae problem, not find fish to eat it. and im not sure what which algae eater would be best, as long as the tank is big enough any should work

Sounds like regular and normal diatoms. Easily wiped away. I would assume the tank is fairly new?
