Does anyone have a tank that is mostly crypts? I have a 75 gal and about 80% of my bottom is crypts. Do they spread? i have notice that mine really don't. Or maybe its because I really have a lot so I don't notice. I LOVE mine they are VERY full and lush. I would like more information on these if someone has it. Mine are mostly the Wendtii ones. I do have a few of the Becketti ones as well.
Thank You

I don't find mine spread, but they get thicker and fuller. I pulled up my crypts not long ago and realized I could separate them into several other plants. If you want them to "carpet", I'd pull them up and separate out the individual plants and replant them in other areas.

I used to have c wendtii and undulata in my shrimp tank. They got thicker and the wendtii would occasionally send out runners. Growth was slow but steady; it was a low light tank.
