Rainbow Pleco always hiding

- My Rainbow Pleco was "out and about" when I purchased him.
- Now that he's home, he's always hiding in my decorations.

- Is this the nature of the beast or what?

- It'd be nice to see him every once and awhile.

My pleco hides too. If he's healthy, there's not much you can do. Maybe add more cover/shelter to make him feel more secure. Also, is there any driftwood in the tank? Plecos like driftwood. How long have you had him?

try food, I have a clown and he is allways under the driftwood. He is starting to come out when I drop food.

there is a saying the more you spend on a pleco the less you will see it. they are nocturnal so its not uncommon to see them.
