Ram eating plants

Just recently got myself a German blue ram and now I've noticed bites taken out of my java fern and wisteria is my ram doing this and is there a way to stop it

I'm pretty sure a ram won't do that. What other fish and inverts do you have?

I have 8 pristellas 6 cardinals 4 Cory's and 1 bristle nose Pleco and my ram

Rams can peck at plants from time to time but your main culprits would definitely be the plecs in my opinion.

My Pleco has never done that before and my tanks been up for almost 6 months maybe

Well it could well be the rams but that's just one of the risks when keeping live plants the fish will feed on them from time to time...
