Red male Platy, tear in tail? Please help

Hello everyone,

I've had my 90 liter fish tank for about 3 months and one of my male platys that i have had since the beginning seems to have a problem with his tail. I have taken a picture and I'll put the link below. I only just noticed today, but it looks like a tear but it looks quite white around the edges. He seems ok, but I'm not sure whether this is an illness or maybe a fight with another fish?

I am keeping an eye on him and the other fish. The others dont have any marks on their tails or fins so i'm hoping its not an illness. Can anyone help? I'm really worried about him.

Hello! I am not sure what illness that might be, but you could try using stress coat, or one of those API products...I'm no expert, but I think that could help.

what else do you have in the tank? anything aggressive or known to be fin-nippers?
