I finally found time to upgrade a somewhat ho-hum 30 gallon planted tank I call the reform school to a 45 gallon I'd been planning for months.

Here is the tank before the move. Lighting was 100 watt daylight CFL.

It is home to a school of 10 Black Skirts, 2 Albino Black Skirts, 1 Skunk Loach, 1 Clown Loach, 1 M Marigold Swordtail and three Oto Cats.

They are really enjoying the extra room. I call this the reform school because these are somewhat rowdy fish.

I was really pleased with the outcome. Usually when I have a vision of what an aquarium will look like, I fail or it takes weeks of tweaking but this turned out on first scape attempt.

Thanks for the feedback.

The dw I hauled out of the Lowe River last summer just for this purpose. Power blasted it the yard, then soaked in anti-parsitic meds for two weeks, then baked under a UV light for a few more just to be sure it was safe for fish.
