Rescued Beta

I rescued this betta from my dads tank which he purchased from a private couple. Any ideas on if i can help sort out them torn/destroyed beautiful fins of his?

Previous owner had this fish in with an angelfish

Ohh It seems as though he has experienced fin nip. One method I LOVE is aquarium salt. The stuff works like a charm, and its cheap! Hope he gets fixed up!
