Root Tabs

Has anyone used API root tabs? I have heard mixed reviews about dosage and use. My tank plants are fairly new and I use API leaf Zone and their CO2 booster. I didn't want to create an algae bloom or cause harm to my fish. So let me know you.

I used them and didn't like them. I used them on swords and the new growth was thin and kind of transparent. I've heard good things about the seachem tabs which are usually only a dollar more but I've never used them personally. I use DIY root tabs and there awesome.

Check out Ru Tabs by PeabodysParadise.com. He makes them himself and are very affordable and work well. The trick I've found is don't use too many as they will make for algae if you do. No more than one for every 6" x 6" area where your root plants are. OS.
