well I got out today yay

picked up a nice flat rock for a shelf across the back so I have more room for coral placement
picked up a few nice corals 6 to be exact
also got 3 yellow chromis with blue belly (Note all chromis are under a 1/4 inch in size so they won't even affect bio load )
and 3 blue green chromis
and a really nice looking coral beauty
everything is still acclimating so I'll get better picts later

still have a bunch more stuff coming from saltwater fish . com

Did you put all those fish in at one time?
I hate to be a sour head but that is too many to put into a tank at one time.
Especially for saltwater now you can do that with freshwater...
Besure to keep an eye on the Ammonia levels probably for at least a week maybe more before adding any more fish to the tank.

the six chromis because they are all under a 1/4 inch actually come out to 1 1/2 fish
in reality for a bio load I made sure I did the research on that first the coral beauty may cause a small spike but It's doubtful since I just pulled 2 fish that I traded in out of that tank
I understand it sounds like a lot but because of the size of the fish it really isn't

I found a pencil urchin they are not reef safe correct
I just put him in my feeder tank to be safe

anyone want him about the size of a dime

prefer someone local in colorado

Do you use the rack in the front to acclimate your frags? Nice pick-ups! I love that Coral Beauty.

Yes the rack is only in there to acclimate and observe coral till I can place it permanently
The coral beauty is on of the most colorful beauty's I've seen in a long time
he is a blueish purple with lots of bright orange that goes to yellow
he has green pin stripe that out lines the orange

I was at the LFS yesterday and checking out some stock, dreaming really. I love the Flame Angel and saw another I really like as well but I can't remember the name. I picked up a bit more CUC for my 10.

OK just got done rearranging my rocks again
placed all my new corals to there new locations
got my coral beauty to eat from my hand he is in no way shy
also I left the rack in since I'm expecting more coral soon
I also swiped a head of hammer coral from my other tank
the tank is starting to come alive so far I'm happy how it's turning out

Can't wait till the next round of coral comes

Wow 80 bucks for a potters angel? Sheesh I paid 40 for mine. He is so cool looking. And very active.

well my new frags came they are still acclimating but I got them placed

I think it's time to shell out for a nice camera these picts just don't do justice

How much rock do you have in their? You gonna have room for all that coral...

about 65lbs thats why I added the flat rock going from pile to pile

plenty of rock space still waiting for coral

You said you found a bad guy in your corals.. Did you dip the corals before putting them in the tank? This will help eliminate any chance of really bad pest getting in your tank.
