Running 10 gallon tank

I have a 10 gallon tank that used to be filled with Red cherry shrimps and java moss. I recently decided to sell everything. Now I have an empty 10 gallon tank with a lot of MTS.

I plan to use it as a fry tank if my cichlids ever breed. In the mean time should I just let it run empty? What do you do with your fry/nursery tank?

Keep it cycled and ready in case you need it, some don't and I understand why, I can only offer up what I do. I have my QT tank cycled and filter and heater running just incase.
