Salt water fish ID

Okay, so i was out diving in the florida keys and i saw this little guy in hole and thought he was pretty awesome. I left him there but i was curious if you guys could help me figure it out.

Small fish, about 2 inches long,
black and white stripes,
very tall dorsal fin

same shaoe as that but with a really tall dorsal fin, i have seen them in aquarium stores before
 
Just wanted to point out that there are five species of the drum family (Sciaenidae) in Florida with similar morphology (at least as juveniles): jack-knife fish (Equetus lancelotus), spotted drum (Equetus punctatus), high hat (Pareques acuminatus), Gulf cubbyu (Pareques iwamotoi) and cubbyu (Pareques umbrosus).
