Sardine cichlid damaged mouth/jaw

I noticed this young cichlids mouth being damaged a couple of days ago. He cannot close/retract his mouth and in the chaos of feeding time I can't really tell if he is in fact eating.

So do you think I should wait and watch or do you think it's do badly damaged and I should just remove the fish.

This is mouth fungus, aka columnaris (bacteria, pathogenic)
They need an antibiotic, preferably in feed.
Kanamycin
Terramycin (OXYtetracycline)
Maracyn-2 (minocycline)
You can always buy the powder and mix enough with food for treatment, terramycin is synthetic and does not go bad.
