Scat in saltwater is sick

Hi, I slowly converted a green scat into a saltwater tank. He has been doing great for two months but now has a bacteria infection in his eyes. I'm considering setting up a QT . My questions are should i make it a brackish water and if that works should i attempt to move him back into my marine tank. i don't want to keep a brackish tank set up for one fish. Also could this be liver failure? Thanks

Cloudy eyes can be taken care of by improving water parameters. Pristine water conditions will do the job. What are your water test results?
