Of Male Then Female Then Female

First female used to be pure white when smaller, and darkened up, male used to be brown, and last female was almost all black then got her stripes.. we have had all 3 for 4 months now and the tank was cycled with a damsel and wrasse with liverock and substrate from 120 even water cycling for 3 months

Note: Male had a bacterial infection in his tail 2 months ago that was successfully treated with Melaflex, but caused him to lose the tip of his tail, that will never grow back, you can see his tail stub in photo

Those are so COOL!

Yeah we just love them, as our SW dealer never gets in Males, when he noticed he got one he made sure to sell it to one of his dedicated customers lol :)

We first got him and the smaller (lighter female that used to be white) then a week later got another bit bigger female (darker) and the male was bigger that both of the females, they are the same age and they are growing fast and eat like champs, always looking and letting us know when its feeding time :)

We plan to get more and some of diff species of seahorses

plus

We plan to add pipefish aswell, a dragonet scotter or dragonet and maybe a firefish, another dartfish, and another doby... along with more inverts... and seahorse safe coral :) any suggestions

Hey guys we just added

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that lastnight we added some new additions to the seahorse tank

A beautiful 8 inch Alligator Pipefish, a 4 inch Scissortail Dartfish and a small 4inch purple bittle starfish.

They look great and are great additives to a seahorse tank, I have posted some pic of there first day. The pipehorse is still a bit stress from the long transport but in luck he will come through. And the dartfish has some slim from her overnight slim coat still left on. As seen in photos...

Comments on our new additions?

We also purchased a Bicolour Goby, being told it would get along with our Tail Spot Goby, but they didnt having to move the tail spot to the sump stressed and tail damaged from the smaller bicolour goby. So the Tail spot is being moved to the 120 reef where he will have more live food to eat :)....

We also picked up another scissortail dartfish, the same one that was at the shop, in the taknk with our first one, sadly he only lived 2 days. Unknown why, he was a bit damages when we got him...

In all this we added some more rock for the goby.. the remaining dartfish is going to the 120 reef aswell as he would love the space :) Also all coral except feather dusters, polpys, and blue sponge. Being the carnation coral, cabage coral, and also a rock of blue mushrooms we also just got, and the devils finger...

Doing this we will have more space for some new H. Kuda that might be coming. :) cant wait. Pipefish is doing fine, except not eating as much as we would want, bit its only been a few days..

Beautiful....love it...

Thanks!

We had to remove in addition both gobys, leaving the only actual fish being the scissortail dartfish, due to puting the tailspot goby back in without the bicolour goby he was suddenly agressive. Plan to get another scissortail mate for him, and maybe move them to the120 gal to for more room for seahorses and pipefish as our alligator pipehorse needs a friend. Not sure if we should try to put the tail spot back with the bicolour now that he is in the bigger tank, maybe they will be fine in a bigger tank, unsure.

I think they should be not only will they be in a bigger tank but its a whole new environment with a whole new aqua scape

2 New Seahorse Additions

Hello Today is day three since we got our 2 new seahorses. They make 5 seahorse to our setup. (3 being our orginal tiger tail seahorses) and the 2 new additions are spotted seahorses. h. kuda. They are both females, and are doing great, eating, they are still young and weak and had a long stressful trip but are getting extra love and care.

Now being 3 (1male, 2female) tiger tail seahorses, 2 female spotted seahorses, 1 Alligator pipehorse, and a scissortail dartfish. (the dartfish maybe moving to the 120gal reef we have) We have moves a yellow sponge to the seahorse tank, and are moving the carnation coral and mushrooms out. Both goby have moved to 120 reef in hopes they will get along in a bigger tank.

Here is a pics of them, one is darker then the other. One pic shows the lighter one with our larger tigertail female.
