Aquarium Advice Freak
I am selling my 72G bowfront. I have really enjoyed the tank but do not have the time to maintain it. The livestock is very healthy and the tank has been set up since June 2004. Everything is in great shape, the only issue I have is a hair algae outbreak. I have been doing a number of PWCs recently with RO/DI water and am starting to get it under control, but as most of you know, it is a slow process. Here is a list of everything in the tank, and some extra equipment that I am willing to sell separately:
72G Bowfront with Black Stand and Hood
Wet/Dry Filter with HOB overflow (Filter is rated for 150G tank)
AquaC Urchin Pro with Mag 3 pump
Current USA Dual Satellite (4X65W) PC light (bulbs replaced 1 month ago)
~120 lbs LR (mix of LR.com Gulf/Keys and Marshall Island)
~2-3" sand bed (black sand)
3 Powerheads (MJ 1200, MJ 900, AquaClear 700)
Livestock:
3" Desjardini Sailfin Tang
3" Koran Angel
2" Flame Angel
2" Radiant Wrasse
2" Lawnmower Blenny
1.5" Six Line Wrasse
2 X Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Various hermits, snail, urchins, etc (a couple pistol hitchihkers too)
5 Stage RO/DI - 100GPD purchased from FiltersDirect (ebay seller)
- all filters replaced last month and still have extra DI resin
Extras (willing to sell separately):
CoraLife Aqualight Pro - 2X150W HQI Mh + 2X96W PC Actinic
- used for under 3 months and is in perfect condition
24" CPR Aquafuge - HOB fuge was taken down 2 months ago (needed the space in the back)
- still in great condition and comes with MJ 600 pump
Everything listed in is great condition. I would like to keep the tank but I have taken on another project for work and will not have the time to take care of it.
I prefer local pick-up and am not looking to part-out the tank. If for some reason the buyer wants the tank and equipment, but not the livestock, I will then be happy to sell the livestock separately.
