I have a pair of breeding bushynose plecos in a 20 long and wanted to add some shell dwellers. Is that possible? What is a good shell dweller that will work and easy to breed?

Thanks for any help!

Two bristlenose in a 20L is pushing it as is, I would either re-home the bristlenose or get a 2nd tank for the Shellie's. The easiest to breed would be 'Lamprologus' multifasciatus.

Mog is right no others with multis and they will breed and breed and breed.

My colony killed the first bristlenose I tried, but don't have any problems with the current one

I just put my multies in a twenty gallon long, I have a trio and many different size fry. When they were in the 40 gal. breeder they kept the other fish and bristlenose on the other side of the tank. The female was brutal protecting her fry. And the males were almost as bad. I think it's better to have them in a species tank. :)
