I have been doing a lot of research and decided I want to set up a shelly tank. I read that only one species should be kept in a tank...I was hoping someone could explain to me why this is and also if someone could provide a recommendation of which species to go with. Thank you in advance

What size tank are u thinking?

No smaller than 15 gallons. No bigger than 30

Try this site it may help. I seen tanks where they kept syn. catfish with them but I'm not 100% sure if that was ok.
