I have a bunch of golden freshwater clams that I would like to sell but I'm not quite sure on how I should ship them.
I'm not experienced in the fish shipping department so a run through would be appreciated along with any specific items I may need.

Thank you all!

I suspect you would ship them much as fish are shipped. Tightly sealed plastic bag of water, more air than water in it. I'd put some plants or netting in so they don't rock around and knock into each other, as it might cause shell damage or damage their breathing tubes.

Bag packed in a sturdy styrofoam container so it can't roll around inside and temp remains steady, and that inside a cardboard box, or line a cardboard box with styrofoam. Next day delivery would be best, I think.

If there's any chance it would get too warm or too cold, adding a hot or cold pack is helpful. Wrap those in paper and ensure they don't actually touch the bag.

I don't know if clams could be shipped in breather bags or not.
