Should i be worried?

Just did a water change this afternoon, and I found all these little whit fuzzy things growing on the cheato in the fuge, then looked at the tank and saw a couple growing on my rocks. Ate the sponges? Something else? Is it bad? Please help!

I'm just wondering do they help at all? I have to tons.

I'd imagine they do they're part but I doubt it would be noticeable at the end of the week in parameters
