Thank You. The photo makes the colors stand out. He really look like he has as slate grey body with red fins that have grey/blue lining.

thank you. Another problem is that he was kept in a tank with other fish the other fish might get infected.

I'm happy to say that my Betta just got his own 10 gallon kingdom! He was in a divided 20 gallon but eventually I bought another fish (baby red tailed shark) and bought a 10g set up for my betta, Burnie! He LOVES it. I used sand this time because the gravel was hurting his fins and I got an LED volcano and misted the sand over it to look like ash and I LOVE it to! I'm going to start planting the tank in about a week! I'm excited!
(Note: I bought Burnie from a dilapidated petco where he suffered badly from fin rot and I couldn't stand to see his beautiful fins rot away anymore so I brought him home and is nursing him back to health)

I found this little guy at my local pet smart I didn't have room for him but I just had to have him so I bought a 15 gallon tank for him that I'm setting up in the mean time he's in a 3 gallon bowl

Why do there have to be so many beautiful or needy Bettas?... (Rhetorical question of course)

Very beautiful. I just had to save one one day from a ignorant person getting to take home such a stunning fish just to kill it.
