I'm wanting to add wood in my tank. Was yours store bought or found?

I'm really not sure, but the person describing it on the video says females only show it when they drop eggs

Okay, I was just wondering because I found a piece in the woods near my house and it sorta soft. I didn't know whether to leave it in the sun or start to saturate it. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307696

Do you think you can take the soft spots off some how?

I just read up on it and I think it is rotting but maybe if I take all the soft spots off it would be okay? I'm going to go and try to take the soft spots off like you said.

Yeah i think that's the healthiest way to put it in the tank.

That's nice. I was just wondering how hard is it to maintain plants?

It's not too hard. It does take extra attention to tank care but I use low light no co2 type of plants. I do use root tabs, ferts, and glut though

Okay thanks. I wanted to plant my tank but I wanted to make sure I could keep them alive first.
