My pleco, German red, sulfer head, and some yellow labs in my 55 gal! I'm fairly new to the cichlid world, but I am really lovin' these guys...they're just starting to show some more color...Super eager to add some more already!

I see a yellow lab and a red zebra lol you meant that rather than yellow labs, right?

I have four yellow cichlids total, only one with the black striped fins....I got them from a guy who said they were all yellow labs so I just assumed they all were! I figured they were hybrids when I googled them because they were unwanted fry he gave me for free, which is how I got introduced to the cichlid world! But you say they're red zebras? Could they be hybrid?

The top one for sure is a yellow lab, the other one has the distinct head shape of a zebra, although the coloring seems to be a bit yellow for a red zebra, but could be the picture. Could be a hybrid, no way to tell for sure though

Very cool! My lfs has one marked down to $75 right now looks very similar except larger also female. It was bright blue and the tank reads "she bites". She's a character too likes to flare and bite at the glass. Hope yours is as cool as the one in my lfs!
