You might see positive change within a week to two weeks if the KH and Ph levels are decent. A new Amazon sword I planted about two weeks ago is almost twice its size and thriving, but I'm injecting CO2 with a reactor at around 18ppm with a ph of 6.9 to 7 and kh around 5. I have one plant (Elodia) that is struggling so who knows. Might have to throw it out. Its thriving in another tank which is 7.8 ph for my livebearers. Its a mystery to me. My tank with the injected CO2 is fairly new... Two months old. HTH
