I'm thinking of adding shrimp to a 10gal that will be heavily planted. It's a low tech tank. But I'll be dosing osmocote root tabs for crypts. Any idea if the miniscule amounts of copper in osmocote will hurt shrimp. There is a mystery snail currently in the tank and he doesn't seem affected.

First, just RCS and Otos.

Added CRS.

Added fish, but stopped seeing baby Shrimp out and about :(

CPDs
Threadfin Rainbows
Corydoras habrosus
Scarlet Badis

Currently it's lightly stocked.
It was heavily planted and stocked during vid, but nano fish have less bioload. And weekly PWCs helped. No issues till I got sick and injured.

Ok I will probably do the shrimp both RCS and CRS with the CPDs and maybe a pacific blue eye trio or threadfin pair. Thanks coursair for the help. Love your tank btw.

Hold off on CRS until you have a super stable tank. RCS are less delicate.
