In my shrimp farm can I have both red cherry shrimp and ghost shrimp?

Avoid Ghosts with Dwarf Shrimp. They'll kill them if they catch them. Amanos are peaceful.
You can mix Caridina and Neocaridina just fine !!
but same genus will crossbreed so avoid Neos with Neos and Cari with cari. Mutt shrimp are brown/clear revert back.

Coursair is right as always.

But since you're just starting off, avoid Cardinia species. See if you can keep RCS or another easy Neocardinia species alive. Good luck.

You can check your LFS, if not there, lots of people on Aquabid.com sell red cherry shrimp and so do many (reliable) people here on our classified section.

Note that on average, they're about $1 each.

1$ each is a steal I paid 7 each for mine. They are high grade though.

Unless you know everything about keeping em, I wouldn't advise starting with high grade. 7 each is definitely the higher end of the painted red ceiling.
