Hello-
A couple of female bettas in my second sorority of 11 have something, but I would love some help to identify and cure it before they pass.
The girls are lethargic and will not eat. They're hanging at the surface and will occationally get air. My main concern is that they're gills are not moving or being used. I cannot tell if they are reddier than usual and I dont believe they are sticking out. I thought maybe gill flukes or gill disease? At the moment they have API Lifegaurd in but nothing is better.
They're located in a 40 gallon tank with 3 corydoras, 1 rainbow shark, and the newest editions have been 3 rosaline sharks. The water parameters are:
0 ammonia
0 nitaite
20 nitrate
7.5 pH
I'm really grateful to anyone who could help, I've already lost one girl and hope to save the rest of them.
