sick clown

I just noticed that my clown has some fuzzy stuff on his white stripe closest to his face. It is not little white spots, so I do not think it is ich. It is hard to describe, but it looks like he scraped himself of something and now it has fuzzy stuff on it. I don't think that is what happened, but that is the only way I can describe it. He is not eating very well and not swimming around as well either. I have not seen him rubbing up against anything in my tank either. Any ideas?
