sick LTA anemone?

I just got this guy maybe two weeks ago, about the past week he has been spending most of his time shrivled up. He definatly contracts more when the lights go off but he still doesn't look right during the day. He has been eating though, this is my first anemone so I'm still learning on acclimation...around the same time he started acting weird he found a rock that he is really anchoring into. Is this why hes doing this. I have good lighting and here are my water perameters
Temp. 80
Ph 8.2
Ammonia. Between 0 and 0.25 ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate close to 20ppm
I'm in the process of lowering it

How long has your tank been set up? You definitely need to get nitrates down. Do a water change and hope for the best.

It has been set up for eight months now, I did a 15% water change yesterday. Should I continue? also can you see the picture I posted cause I cant lol I forgot to add sg which is 1.025

Any detectable ammonia is toxic to livestock.

I have t5 HO coral reef lights as well as actinic lighting

Def. do a 15-20% WC every day until it gets to 0.
Make sure you have good flow and no nitrate traps like canister filters.

Try and keep the conditions as stable and the water as pristine as possible.
