Sick moss ball

I have 2 moss balls I recently put in my tank. As you can see, one is healthy while the other may be beyond saving. Does anyone know why this would happen to only one? Is there any fixing this?

Have you moved it recently? Looks like a dead spot

I have moved it yes but the only dead spot in the tank is right under the filter

It wont die from lack of flow. It seems like it sat in 1 spot too long
