sick platys?

I have 3 mickey mouse platys. Two of them hide under rock shelves that we have in the tank. The third is larger than the other two and it does not hide at all. Are my platys sick or are they just hiding from the large one?

Do they come out to eat? What size tank? Most platies I have seen rarely hide.

It's a 29 gallon tank and they do come out to eat. They stay near the bottom while the Larger one goes right to the top.

Can't say for sure they are sick, I'd keep an close eye out and watch for any physical signs.
